Kim Kardashian and her six-month pregnant belly has been spotted all over New York these past few days as she promotes Tyler Perry’s new film, “Temptation.” While jetting past the BET offices this week, she not only chatted about her first big role away from the reality TV cameras, but also how she plans on teaching her child about racial identity. When asked if she is prepared to raise a bi-racial baby, she responded:
I have a lot of friends who are of all different nationalities and their children are bi-racial so they’ve talked to me a little bit about it and what to expect. The most important thing is, the way I want to raise my children is to not see color. There are experiences that you won’t really know how to prepare for until you really go through it but raising a child in general is challenging. As long as you are open-minded and don’t have any pre-concieved ideas of how you are going to raise your children, it really keeps this broad spectrum. Obviously, You want your child to travel the world and experience different races and different cultures everywhere. So that’s really important to me.
In even more baby news today, model-turned-rapper Lola Monroe has given birth to a baby boy.
The happy mom confirmed the news to her fans earlier today when she tweeted:
To God be the Glory!!!!! Our royal gift has arrived!!! I just gave birth to our baby….!!!! LOVE
The proud father, rapper King Los, followed her tweet up with his own that read:
“A KING IS BORN!!!!! God did some amazing things for us today !!!!!

With a baby on the way, a very pregnant LoLa Monroe celebrated the joyous occasion with some of her closest friends and family. Her “All Gold, All Girls” collaborator Cassie hosted a baby shower in her honor on Saturday. The mom-to-be was joined by her girlfriends including Teairra Mari, Hazel-E, and Toccara Jones at the intimate celebration in the Hollywood Hills.
“So much love today…friends and family..in town to the ones that flew in. Thank you for joining us to be apart of something special,” tweeted the Taylor Gang rapper, who thanked her gracious host.
“Thaank u @CassieSuper 4 being so special n throwing me such a beautiful baby shower!!ur such a great friend #Rare #Genuine Love u so much!”
Amber Rose revealed that she made the decision to do an at-home, all natural birth after viewing a documentary titled, “The Business of Being Born,” and that she’d prefer to deliver her baby the way women used to before there were hospitals:
He doesn’t like hospitals, I don’t like hospitals, we feel like that’s the place that people go when they die and I’m not sick. I feel like from the beginning of time women squatted and had their babies and that exactly what I want to do. I just want to go full throttle, I don’t want no medication. We take home birthing classes to teach us how to do it, and we’re gonna have our midwife and when the baby’s head comes out he’s gonna be Dr. Wiz. He’s gonna be the first person to touch the child. No doctors, no gloves.
Cute couple Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose were guests of honor this past week as they stopped by the JoyRich boutique in West Hollywood to pick up some apparel. Meanwhile, Amber is more than ready for her new baby to arrive. She tweeted to her followers, “Ehh I’m so uncomfortable my belly is so big now I freakin waddle. Its funny when people say, “Damn Amb u’ve been pregs 4ever!” Come on people think about it! 9 months is almost a year. It takes time 2 bake a baby :).
