Kid Cudi is set to make his feature film debut later this summer and with that comes your first look at him in the film as Lev Berkowitz.

Gather Films has provided us with two stills of Scott Mescudi and Adrian Grenier  from the upcoming release of “Goodbye World”.Goodbye World will make its world premiere at the 2013 Los Angeles Film Festival as part ofthe Narrative Competition. The film stars stars Adrian Grenier, Mark Webber, Ben McKenzie, Kerry Bishe, Scott Mescudi, Gaby Hoffmann and Caroline Dhavernas.

The indie comedy is about a group of old college friends and lovers who retreat to a remote country cabin when a mysterious cyber-attack cripples civilization. The group must cope with an uncertain future while navigating the minefield of their shared past.

KiD CuDi rages on the charts this week with his latest album Indicud, which enters at No. 2.

The third album from the Cleveland rapper debuts in the runner-up spot on the Billboard 200, selling 136,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
It marks Cudi’s highest debut yet and his second largest sales week following his 2010 album Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager, which moved 169,000 units in its opening week.
Indicud was originally scheduled for release on April 23, but arrived a week early following its premature leak. Earlier this month, Cudi made headlines after announcing his departure from G.O.O.D. Music.
A gracious Cudi thanked his fans for their support. “THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT WENT OUT AND SUPPORTED INDICUD!! I COULD NOT HAVE DONE THIS WITH OUT ANY OF YOU! WE DID IT!” he tweeted. “MAD LOVE TO @falloutboy AND THE HOMIE @petewentz AND CONGRATS ON KILLIN IT ONE MORE TIME! IM IN GOOD COMPANY AT THE TOP!”
The No. 1 spot goes to rock band Fall Out Boy, whose album Save Rock and Roll bows at No. 1 (154,000).

A Kid Cudi album release just wouldn’t be the same without Cudi taking some time out to talk to Complex Magazine. In a follow up interview to his cover story from earlier this year, Joe La Puma hops on the phone with Cudi last night to talk about recording INDICUD, his state of mind right now, G.O.O.D. Music, talking to Jay-Z about his decision, the future of his music and more.

I’m really happy with all my previous work. Those albums were supposed to bring you into the moment of that place in time I was at, my head state. I can’t listen to [my old] songs now. It was so real and open and raw that if I listen to them I start feeling bad for myself because that was such a sad, sad life I was living. I was really sad kid. It kind of bums me out. I don’t ever want to look back and listen to those records. At my shows is the only time I get into that space and think about those songs. I don’t dwell on what happened in the past. Those songs are out, those albums are out.

As usual, this is a great read so make sure to check out the full story.
